Continued Strong Growth Creates Need for Operations Director, New Sales and Marketing Personnel
Westinghouse Lighting Solutions’ continued strong growth requires the addition of a new executive position. Andrew Joseph will move up to be our new Operations Director. As you all know, our fixture line is manufactured in our Philadelphia assembly plant and our continued growth now requires this full-time, dedicated position. Among other things, Andy will be responsible for fixture quality, performance, production, purchasing and implementation of our lean-assembly initiatives. We are all excited as Andy embarks on continuing our mission to provide a best-in-class customer experience, and maintain our market position as the quality and performance leader.
We would also like to introduce you to Larry Schmidt. Larry will be assuming the role of Sales Director. He was most recently an executive with Columbia Lighting, a division of Hubbell Lighting. Larry has more than 20 years of international experience in the fluorescent fixture manufacturing industry. We welcome his industry knowledge and experience, and are certain he will help Westinghouse Lighting Solutions carry out our aggressive growth plans by continuing to support, train and develop our dealer network. Larry will be based in our Philadelphia office.
Additionally, sales will get continued support from Vance Grosso, also a veteran of the fluorescent lighting industry for over 20 years, including a managerial position at Simkar Lighting. Vance joined our team as the marketing and communications specialist last October to help build up an arsenal of print and web-based presentation materials, and to continue to improve and expand our web training and educational collateral. In addition, he will be responsible for trade show exhibits and advertising.
We are excited and confident that these changes will pave the way to reach our goals of aggressive growth, best-in-class service and performance, and an overall easy and profitable experience for our dealer base. We will continue to make the investments necessary to expand our reach and further enable us to deliver our core values: savings without compromise to our end users and opportunity to our dealers.  Tooling provisions have been made to accommodate toggle type hanger kits. ECO and RF Series, and soon Hybrid and PT housings, will have provisions for quick installation of toggle hanging kits as a standard feature. Kits are available through Westinghouse or may already be on the jobsite. A set of holes on both ends of the fixture make toggle hanging quick and easy. Westinghouse kit #12-10YFIT is a 2-pak toggle assembly with two 10' adjustable cables. |

ECOnomical Series now offers six base models for 2008. Our newest, most-streamlined High Bay T5 or T8 Fluorescent Industrial fixture is ready for shipment. Specify EC Series or EA Series if ballast access door is required.
Refrigeration/Freezer Series: RF Series 4- and 6-lamp enclosed fixtures for use in freezers and refrigerated areas are ready to ship.
Bare Aluminum components are migrating to a white powder-coat finish for a cleaner appearance.
